Spotlight uses the same trusted research process as the main Chambers USA guide, but switches the focus to local markets. It is a city-first lens on legal excellence, rather than a different methodology.

Who is Chambers Spotlight Ohio for?
Spotlight is exclusively for firms with fewer than 75 attorneys and those that do not already have a department ranking in the main Chambers USA guide. If you have individually ranked lawyers but no department table, you are still eligible.

How the research works
Chambers identifies candidate firms, then runs an interview, typically lasting around 45 minutes. After the interview, Chambers invites you to complete a short survey where you can provide a publishable work highlight if ranked. Interviews are annual, so plan for a repeat conversation each directories cycle.
