ELE is delighted to announce the appointment of Emma Doran as Content & Directories Consultant.

Emma joins ELE with experience across leading barristers’ chambers, including Deka Chambers and 39 Essex Chambers, where she developed expertise in legal directories, marketing communications and event strategy.

Her experience spans legal directory and award submissions, web content and client communications, campaign delivery, and the management of marketing projects from strategy to execution. With a background in English Literature and History from the University of Edinburgh and a Master’s in Human Rights from the London School of Economics, Emma brings strong analytical, research and writing skills to her work, alongside a deep understanding of how to communicate complex legal issues clearly and persuasively.

“Emma combines strong communication skills with a structured, thoughtful approach to content,” said Helen Foord, CEO of ELE. “Her experience working with barristers’ chambers gives her a valuable perspective on how to present technical expertise in ways that resonate with clients, directories and wider audiences.”

Emma says, “I’m thrilled to be joining ELE and to have the opportunity to help clients craft compelling, precise content that reflects their expertise. I’m especially looking forward to contributing to directory submissions and broader content projects that showcase the strength of our clients’ work.”

Emma’s appointment reflects ELE’s continued growth and focus on delivering clear, effective and responsible communications for the legal sector.
