ELE is delighted to announce the addition of two specialist consultants, Giseli Farias and Ian Wall. Both bring extensive experience across the EMEA and Latin American markets, deepening ELE’s European expertise and extending its reach into Latin America as well as specialist intellectual property work.
Giseli Farias will be partnering with ELE following a career spent both inside the directories and advising firms on how to work with them. She was formerly Head of Europe and Latin America at a global directories agency, where she led a team advising top-tier and international firms on rankings, reputation and market positioning. Before that she spent several years at Chambers & Partners, first as a Senior Researcher on the Europe guide and later as Head of Brazil Research on the Latin America Guide. She works in Portuguese, Spanish and English, which is important for firms whose most important conversations do not happen in English.
Ian Wall will be partnering with ELE as a specialist IP directories consultant. A qualified UK Chartered Trade Mark Attorney with more than a decade in private practice across Europe and Latin America, Ian moved into legal marketing in 2020 to focus on intellectual property firms. He works on directory submissions and thought leadership, and, fluent in Spanish, he can take a case straight from a lawyer and present it in the English a directory researcher needs to see. His methodology is hands-on: he gets to know a firm, its lawyers and its cases in detail before writing a word.
“Giseli and Ian strengthen ELE in three directions at once,” said Helen Foord, CEO of ELE. “They add real depth across EMEA, building on our partnership with Legal Directories Consultants, and they extend our reach into Latin America. Both know these markets from the inside, and both can work with firms directly in their own language, as well as Ian bringing specialist expertise in the many IP-related directories and awards.”
Coming shortly after ELE’s partnership with Legal Directories Consultants, the additions reflect a deliberate investment in the firm’s EMEA capability, alongside its growing Latin America and IP expertise. They continue ELE’s focus on delivering clear, thoughtful and responsible communications for the legal sector.
